Natural skincare easy to do!
Put simply, ‘natural skin care’ is caring for your skin in a natural and chemical-free way. Organic skincare products are gaining notice these days, from those you create in your kitchen to those you can buy. ‘Natural skin care’ advocates enabling the skin to take care of itself (without any assistance from synthetic materials/ chemicals). Just by reading the back of your favorite none organic/naturally created skincare is enough to scare you. Do you have any idea just how many chemicals are in your high-end skincare products?
‘Natural skin care’ is about inculcation of good habits in the way you lead your day to day life. A lot of natural skin care measures are actually the same as those for body care in general. Watching what you eat, do and who you are around.
Ever looked at your face and wonder why it looks so dry? It could be something as simple as lack of water. Well the first and the foremost natural skin care measure is – ‘Drink a lot of water’. Regular exercise is the next thing on the cards. Exercise increases the flow of blood that helps in getting rid of body toxins and keeping you healthy. Exercise also helps in beating stress which is the worst enemy of good health. Going for walks, working out in the pool and gym are all ways of dealing with your stress.
Healthy food and eating habits are also recommended for natural skin care. They say some types of food (e.g. pizza, french fries and other oily foods)is know to cause acne and should be avoided as much as possible. But its not really the true, per say. Its more the amount and lack of other things as well that can give you acne. If you do not cleanse your skin every morning and night before going to bed, this can lead to acne. As well as your diet should be a healthy mix of various nutrients providing foods. Raw fruits and vegetables are well known to good for your body and help in getting rid of body toxins.
A good sleep is also instrumental in maintaining good health and in beating stress. Sleep helps the body renew its self which is why its very good to get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep a night.
Beating stress is another natural skin care therapy. Stress causes overall damage to body and health. Drinking a lot of water, getting a sound sleep and exercise has already been mentioned as stress busters. Indulging in a warm bubble bath, listening to soothing music and playing your favorite sport are also good ways of beating stress.

Ingredients:
1 cup of dry milk powder
3 drops of lavender essential oil ( find it at your natural foods store or natural area of your local store)
Instructions:
Thoroughly mix the lavender essential oil into the milk
powder and when well combined add it to your
running bath water.
Light a candle and soak your stress away.

Golden Chamomile Milk Bath
Ingredients:
4 cups of dry milk powder
1 cup of boiled water (takes 6 minutes in most microwaves)
6 chamomile tea bags (organic is best)
Instructions:
Steep the chamomile tea in your boiled water for about twenty
minutes. After twenty minutes add the tea bag liquid to the
milk powder mix it well and then add it to your warm running
bath water.
Drinking Chamomile tea is also one of the best ways to relax before going to sleep at night.
Take yourself for a long walk around the park, get away from others that are causing you to have too much stress. Families and work are always going to be stress creators why not try yoga as a way of beating stress; it is fast gaining popularity amongst the masses. Yoga has been around for years, only now that has it started to really gain popularity because of the many actors who do it.
Avoiding excessive exposure to sun (by wearing long sleeved clothes, hat and umbrella etc), is another natural skin care strategy. Always use Sunscreen before going outside. Sunshine gives us Vit. D which is very helpful but too much sun without sunscreen can lead to cancer.
Taking care of your skin can be as simple as cleansing it every night to watching what you eat. A lot of traditional and home made natural skin care products/ measures are also known to be very effective.
